Normal Registration

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR REGULAR REGISTRATION UNDER SIERRA LEONE FLAG

Step #1 – Application for Sierra Leone Normal Provisional Registration Procedure 

1. Request for confirmation of availability of vessel’s name

2. Application for registration of ships form, see the following :

• APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION SHIPS
• KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER FORM
• APPLICATION FOR MSM
• RO CONFIRMATION LETTER

3.Copy of Bill of Sale Signed and Notarized (where applicable).

4.If new ship, a copy of Builder’s certificate signed and Notarized.

5.Radio Accounting Authority letter (RAA) (where applicable).

6.Copy of applicant’s Passport

Step #2 – Application for Sierra Leone Normal Permanent Registration Procedure

Please compile and submit the following document to our office minimum two months before the respective expiry of the Provisional Registry Certificates.

1. Original notarized signed Bill of Sale (For NEW SHIPS, an original notarized signed Builder’s certificate).

2. Original Deletion certificate-From the previously registry (if not in English, should provide the English translation version).

3. Copy of Deletion CSR if applicable.

4. Copy of LRIT conformance report (where applicable).

STEP #3 – APPLICATION FOR SIERRA LEONE ANNUAL

1. Ship related insurance of ship need effective (BCC, CLC, DMLC PART 1).

2.Copy of LRIT conformance report (where applicable).
