Provisional Registration

Requirements

1. Acceptance of Quotation OR Purchase Order
2. Application for Registration (Appl. A001)
3. Application for Minimum Safe Manning (Manning Composition) (Appl. A039)
4. Application for Ship Radio Station License – (Basic Details)
5. Power of Attorney or Article of incorporation as evidence of Authority for the person signing the application form or Copy of Passport (for application by individuals)
6. Proof of Ownership such as Bill of Sale or Court Documents duly notarized or authenticated by a Notary, PISR Deputy Registrar or Palau Diplomatic Mission
7. Copy of Passport of the application signatory

Permanent Registration

This service is intended for a provisionally registered vessel to receive the permanent registration.

Requirements

1. Original Evidence of Deletion Certificate
2. Original Application for Registration
3. Original Proof of Ownership, such as Bill of Sale, Builder Certificate, Court Documents duly notarized or authenticated by a Notary, PISR Deputy Registrar or Palau Diplomatic Mission
4. RAA Attestation Letter
5. LRIT Conformance Test Report, as applicable
6. Crew List

Bareboat IN Registration

This service is intended for a vessel to be permitted to temporarily fly and operate under the supervision of the Palau Ship Registry, while the ownership and mortgages (if any) continue to be registered in a foreign jurisdiction.

Requirements

1. Acceptance of Quotation OR Purchase Order
2. Application for Registration (Appl. A001)
3. Application for Minimum Safe Manning (Manning Composition) – (Appl. A039)
4. Application for Ship Radio Station License – (Basic Details)
5. A true copy of the Charter party-Bareboat Charter Agreement (Notarized) to be duly recorded in the Palau Ship Registry as per Title 7 PNC section 735 (a)
6. A written letter of Consent from the Foreign Registry. As per Section 735 (b) 3 of Title 7
7. Copy of Passport of the application signatory
8. Power of Attorney or Article of incorporation as evidence of Authority for the person signing the application form or Copy of Passport (for application by individuals)
9. An official certificate from the foreign State of registration setting forth the ownership of the vessel and any recorded encumbrances as per Title 7 PNC section 735(b) 1
10. The written consent of the vessel’s owner and of the mortgagee(s), if any as per Title 7 PNC section 735 (b) 2

Single Voyage Registration (Delivery)

This service is intended for a vessel to be registered for a single voyage for delivery.

Requirements

1. Acceptance of Quotation OR Purchase Order
2. Application for Registration (Appl. A001)
3. Application for Minimum Safe Manning (Manning Composition) (Appl. A039)
4. Application for Ship Radio Station License – (Basic Details)
5. Power of Attorney or Article of incorporation as evidence of Authority for the person signing the application form or Copy of Passport (for application by individuals)

Renewal of Registration

This service is intended for a vessel to renew her registration.

4. Application for Ship Station License (if altered from the initial registration)
5. Application for Minimum Safe Manning (if altered from the initial registration)
